Robert K. Yin
Robert K. Yin (born 1941) is an American social scientist, President of COSMOS Corporation, and scholar-in-residence at American University, known for his work on case study research.〔Joy, Mike. In the 1960s Yin obtained his BA in history from Harvard College, and took his graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he obtained his PhD in brain and cognitive sciences.〔(Robert K. Yin profile ) at ''sagepub.com''. Accessed 31.01.2015〕
After his graduation Yin published his first articles in the field of experimental psychology and neuroscience. In the 1970s he focussed his research interests on sociological methods and research, and particularly case study research in cooperation with Eveleen Bingham,〔Yin, Robert K., and Karen A.
